New Illustrated List from Hengduan Mountain Biotechnology

Hengduan Mountain Biotech is Holger Pernar's operation in China. Unlike some growers who only care about their own collections, Holger moved to China and developed a large program to breed and support the continued availability of orchid plants.

My first exposure to him - other than good articles in magazines - was at the NCOS Paph Forum last February, where I obtained two seedling-grown paph species, henryanum & helenae. Both are great plants; only "henry" has bloomed, but they are both strong, healthy plants.

I received this in my email this morning, so if you're looking for some hard-to-find plants...

They have nice stock.
