I've bought many outstanding plants from Sam. He's as good as it gets, honest to a fault, and genuinely concerned that you get the best available (which he has to offer!)

I WISH he had a website. My brother lives in Bloomington. I could make him bring me orchids when he comes to visit.
Guess maybe it's time for a visit out there..... lol

Orchid Inn does have a site, just no pics. http://www.orchidinnusa.com Sam seems like a very busy guy, the site must be low on the to do list.
I just placed an order for three flasks with him. This are my choices:
Paph.spicerianum x sib ('Walking Tall' x 'Fat Boy')
Paph. tigrinum 'Wild Cat' x adductum 'Dark Cloud'
Paph. bellatulum var. album 'Pure Snow' x self

I've bought a bunch of Paphs from him, and all are healthy plants (with stunning lineage), although many are just seedlings:
2 x roths (1 seedling and 1 NBS)
sanderianum
venustum
PEOY (this was a gift he threw in)
philippinense alba
micranthum
also a Phrag besseae, but that was a pass through from Orchid Zone.
I don't know of any grower who has earned more FCC's for his roths, Sam follows all the top breeding from Japan as well, and his sanderianum experiences are fascinating.
He's as good as it gets!

I love his plants and he's a great guy to boot. Whenever he comes to a show here I drool all over his plants. (and usually buy something)

My experience is that he has very high quality breeding stock, and many species that are difficult to locate. His flasks varied in quality, some quite nice and others a bit small. The mortality with undergrown seedlings is much higher than well grown flask seedlings, and I didn't get my money's worth on those flasks.
The well grown flasks have done very well.........

Dave, how were the tigrinum x adductum flasks? I'm very interested in ordering one for myself.

I'm waiting for the roths from Sam too. Hope they will be fine after so long travelling.
