Default Experience with EFG Orchids?

Hi everyone, has anyone heard of a vendor called EFG Orchids near Chicago, IL? They have a website, but it seems to be on the fritz and sometimes that can be a red flag. Anyone have experience with them?

I've been searching for a source for Miltoniopsis Echo Bay 'Midnight Tears' for years, and the only one I have found is from Orchids in our Tropics, a Canadian company that does ship to the US, but they have a wait list for it.

EFG Orchids has Echo Bay for sale for $7.50 in 2.5" pots. Seems too good to be true so I am really hoping someone has heard of them.

Thanks in advance!

They haven't been near Chicago for a long time... 10 years maybe? They are in Florida now. I think you've found an old web site. Try this one

EFG Orchids, orchids for hobby and commercial growers - Welcome

But, if you did find an old website, my guess is they don't have that plant any more. I recommend them anyway, good people.

Darn! Looks like they've really downsized their retail end. No more Echo Bay.

Thanks for the info, Rob.

Red Miltonia Unbloomed Give this a try.

I wanted this one too and Orchids In Our Tropics told me they didn't have it at all!

I came across that site too, Silken. Not sure I like the look of it. I hope that the plant pictured is Augres Trinity and not what they are selling as Echo Bay. Thanks though!

Either call or email them. Last time I ordered from him he said the website is horribly out of date.
