Orchids Vendors in Europe - Orchid Board

Dear All,

Once more, it was evident during the latest Members Projects that having a list of nurseries and vendors for each major region would be beneficial for everybody. We have indeed a short list of nurseries for which we know that can be trusted, but this is far for complete.

Therefore, I decided to propose some threads (probably a forum admin or moderator can stick them to the beginning of this section of the forum!?)

The rules are simple:

Use one thread per region!
Add ONLY vendors for which you have good experience buying from them, or the people you know have godo experience. NOTE: at least 2 or 3 orders should have been done from each vendor!
If you add a new vendor, please explain briefly your experience with it.
Good vendors do not necessarily need to be cheap! This would depend on many factors, and the list is not intended ONLY for the projects!
PLEASE add the link to the website!

Please, DO NOT use this thread for vendors review. We have a whole section of the forum for that.

ONLY add vendors with a brief feedback from your side!!

To start this list, here my propposed vendors for Europe. These are all vendors from which I have ordered plants at least twice and always have been very satisfied with the service. Of course, in some cases I have had a complain with one or two plants (for whatever reason), but the service and handling of the complain by the vendor have been satisfactory.

There is no specific order in the list!

Somehow I missed it. I'll sticky it, and the others.

I have one to add:
Claessen Orchideeën -> One of the cheaper growers, excellent quality plants. Shipping outside of the Netherlands can be expensive though.

As for Popow, I also recommend looking as his selection on ebay.
