Happy with Orchids by Hausermann
My friend and I went in on an order from these guys. She got Phal. Burning Sand 'Ablaze' and
Phalaenopsis White Dream. Both plants look great and have nice spikes 'Abaze' had 7 buds on it and White Dream has a 10" spike going; neither plant wasn't even advertised as in spike so nice surprises there. Mine is Phal. violacea (Malaysia x var. Borneo) and very healthy. No spike on mine yet but hoping to see one soon it was purchased as blooming size. Plant and spikes in great condition packaged very well. Roots are large and healthy on all plants and plants are in amazing condition I didn't know how they would fair in shipping. This was both of our first experiences with ordering online and we choose Hausermann based on your recommendations of them. Thanks Orchidboard!!! Photos to follow.
PS: My friend was reluctant to order online but I have confidence in your opinions and talked her into it. She initially wasn't thinking about getting one (it didn't take much convincing). Now she wants to know when we can order again (we spilt the shipping costs). I got her interested in orchids in the first place. Fun to see someone else bitten by the orchid bug!
The photos below are what they will look like when they bloom!

Congratulations on your new orchids. I love the color on Burning Sand 'Ablaze'. I've only bought from Hausermann once but I had the same experience as you. The orchids I bought were larger and in better condition than I expected.

How exciting! The only thing is, your violacea is technically Phal. Samera. Phal. violacea var. borneo was renamed as bellina many, many years ago.

Hausermann is one of a few online vendors that still stubbornly refer to bellina as violacea var. borneo (or maybe they just didn't get the memo). They also have a bellina listed as:
Phal. (violacea var. borneo x violacea var borneo 'Pacific Isle')

Awesome! My ablaze has been in spike for almost three months now. Frustration has set in but it's slowly keeping it going.
I've been happy with all my plants from Hausermanns.
