This is disheartening. I just ordered a couple of Massie's from them. Never had bugs, what should I be looking for?
Is scale a problem with these?

I would recommend to anyone who purchases from OLO to repot your plants immediately. I'm still doing battle with scale on the Brlla, and the Sediria had mealies. I nabbed those quickly and haven't seen any sign of them since. They never responded to my email, soooo... I won't be doing business with them again.

I guess I was lucky...the two Sederias I got from them arrived with no problems and are doing fine.

When does this place actually ship? I ordered on 4/20, they charged my card on 4/21 and no sign of them yet I did email them, waiting to hear back now.

Just a follow-up to my earlier post after I emailed them, I had the plants the next day. Both were in spike and in great condition. No complaints other than that!

Megan, I'd still recommend repotting. Better safe than sorry.

I totally repot all of my orchids (including these Los Osos ones) once I get them with the exception of 1. It was a massive phal with 4 blooming spikes but this was from a different vendor I trust.

Recently purchased a Sedirea japonica from Los Osos (ebay) and overall I was pleased. The plant had nice roots and was in bloom. However, there were mealy bugs at the base and in two of the unopened buds but I think I took care of that. For the price, I got a nice plant. Shipped with a tracking number and really fast as well.

Just found this thread -
bought a sedirea and a zygo a few months back from this
seller.
I repotted the sedirea right away - did not see any signs of anything nasty - nice roots.
Just repotting the zygo now with a bit of trepidation after finding this thread -
Only thing I found in zygo pot besides lots of roots was a small wormy looking critter which I hope is just a small worm!?

The sedirea still looks good - and has been growing and haven't seen any signs of anything bad.

Just wanted to post my experience with this seller - got worried after reading this thread - but both plants look good
