Default Orchids.com update

O so some of you may know of my disappointing order from orchids.com in which I bought a Talin Lion phal, a gigantea hybrid, that arrived with a spent spike and as a weakened plant. The plant is barely hanging on, so I called orchids.com and they arranged for a replacement that never came. Turns out they had some that lost their tags so they couldn't be sure what the plants were etc. anyway, I called them again and got store credit. They were very nice about it though I wish their communication were better because the situation was dragging on and they insisted the pant would be replaced.

So today I called them up to place an order to use up my store credit. Again, super nice and it was easy to get the store credit applied as a gift cert. I ended up ordering a schilleriana, a stuartiana sogo (which looks freaking amazing in their photos on their site) and a Tolumnia that is rather psychedelic looking! Lol the order is due to arrive January 27th. I'll report back!

I have no confidence the mother plant will live. But it has about ten keikis on two spikes and I'm impatiently waiting for them to throw roots. I have no rooting hormone right now so they are on their own. So I got the schilleriana as a replacement plant. The Stuart is gorgeous isn't it? I love the color and spots.
