I've only purchased on line from our own "RoyalOrchids" and it was an excellent experience. I'm glad also that we have members here that are willing to trade, sell, help. Why go anywhere else?

My daughter received an orchid from Norman's a year and a half ago. It was in beautiful shape. A phal, Frieda Shapira Fangtastic, that was so beautiful and in bloom. It has bloomed again since then and is still blooming. I wound up with this lovely creature since my daughter wasn't sure she knew how to care for it.

I can't say enough bad things about them. I purchased a Dendrobium lowii from them recently and paid about $51.00 including shipping. What I got was the most pathetic looking plant. It had what appears to be two live canes only one of which had leaves on it. When I sent an e-mail that told me that the plant was deciduous and that is why it only had 8 leaves. Excuse me but I thought Dendrobiums that were deciduous drop their leaves when the days get shorter, i.e. fall or winter not in June!. It's possible that the plant was stressed prior to me receiving it and thus the few leaves. If that is the case they had no business selling the plant. In any event, they said I could return the plant but would not pay fot the return shipping. I personally will never ever use these people again.

With a handle like swamper, you don't seem like the pink pom pom type. Thanks guys. Nice to know who you can trade with. Assuming I ever get any keikis. Gotta get me some of that keiki hormone stuff for my chids.
