I received my first order from H&R today. It is a very well grown small mericlone of C. mendelii 'Moulin Rouge'. I can't wait for it to grow up. Good people at H&R. A pleasure to order from.

I bought a couple from them at our local show this past spring. Great plants, even after traveling half way across the country on a plane.

When I first started my business, they were the first company to extend wholesale purchasing capability to me, and I resold a great many of their plants. It's just too bad they don't wholesale mature ones.

I too have bought a couple plants from them at a show - both were (and are still) great!

I thought I'd add my experience with H&R, although this thread has been dead for a few months. I live on Oahu and their nursery is on the windward side (the eastern coast) where most of the plant nurseries are located. I don't know them personally.

I've visited the nursery several times as it is open to the public. It is impeccably clean and very well-organized. I've seen some other nurseries that looked rather shabby and cluttered but H&R is immaculate. You can tell the owners take pride in their business. They're also very helpful and friendly.

Additionally, their plants are clean, healthy and well-potted. They specialize in Cattleya and Dendrobium. I would highly recommend them.

I've purchased a number of great plant from H&R, they managed to trick me into putting some dens in my collection - previously not my favorite types of plants. I got a den. Aussie's Chip from them that's been in nearly continuous bloom in my windowsill for months. Really great people and terrific healthy plants.
