I contacted them when I first found the mold in my Iwan Apple Blossom...the reply was that they were just starting to repot the Iwan's and appreciated my letting them know.

Since then, every person that ordered has found mold
in their plants, and none of them have been Iwanagaara.

Gotta say...nice plants but I wouldn't order from them again.

Darn it all- I caught this one too late and ordered before the sale was over. I hope everything is OK...
Should I just spritz with some Listerine (I don't have any physan) and repot with my fingers crossed? How did everyones plants turn out?

Don't worry Ami, it's not the end of the world

Repot your plants as soon as you get them. Wash away all the old bark and get it into some fresh stuff...they'll be fine

OK, so initially after receiving my plants I emailed and thanked them for such nice specimens (and they are), and for such a great job packing them. They just emailed me a thank you for the nice comments. Do you think I should mention the root rot and snow mold, or just let it go? The plants are doing great with no ill effects.

Terri, when I found the mold, I emailed them and got a response telling me that they had just started repotting that particular plant and appreciated my letting them know. In the weeks following that, I learned that almost everybody who order, all differnet plants, had mold problems, so it wasn't just the one type I ordered.

As long as they are repotted into fresh mix they'll be alright. Mine are doing fine

I wouldn't bother...they are well aware of the problem.
