Default Equatorial Orchids

A number of us ordered together from Equatorial Orchids in the UK. Got seedlings (in flask) of some really rare and unusual stuff, especially the New Guinea Dendrobiums he specializes in. I got seedlings of D. alaticualinum, cyanocentrum (both blue and white forms), nebularum, prasinum, vexillarius, agathodaemonis, brassii, massarangense and subuliferum. Very happy with my purchases.

Wow. Good to know. Sounds like you have quite a dendrobium collection!

I got the below and am so excited. I love Den species and am always interested in trying something new.

Den. cyanocentrum (blue) HF - L9
Den. masarangense SP x2 - L6
Epi ilense HF - L9

This was my first experience importing and I am so pleased with the outcome.

Just got my shipment in today. They're all deflasked, potted up, and ready to grow.

The Onc coloratum and Den cyanocentrum (blue) both look very good.

The Disa sagitallis were very jumbled in the hobby flask, but it doesn't matter. Summer dormancy will be right around the corner, and they will drop the leaves anyways. The tuberoids are what matter, and they look great.

Next time I'll just purchase a number of the same species in individual flasks instead of buying hobby flasks or commercial flasks.

Thank you very much for organizing this. I really appreciate it. I had a hard time trying to find all 3 species for a very long time.

When the Disa sagitallis breaks dormancy in mid to late fall, I'll post pics.

Thanks again, Ron.

The plants from Equatorial Plants are awesome!
