Yes, I find the quality to be excellent. My friends agree!

I have also visited the facility. I will visit again if I have the opportunity--Chicago is 600+ miles away.

My :twocents: -- I really like Hauserman's. They do sales a lot, putting overstocks on clearance. Sometimes these have old medium, but you get em' for about 7 bucks! More that a few times I received a plant form them and it blooms within a month or so. Shipping is also a plus. Everything comes fast and in great shape.

I've had good and old potting media from several different vendors. I like to re-pot immediately anyways.

For the past 5 years, I've purchased many orchids on line, mostly through eBay. A couple of weeks ago a friend recommended a vendor, tropicalorchidfarm.com Without a doubt this is the best site I've found for quality orchids.:D

I actually visited Hausermann's a few days ago and sadly walked out empty handed. Every plant I was interested in had red spider mites all over the leaves. There must be some sort of infestation in the greenhouses. I do give them a thumbs up for variety and quantity but that's about it. :(

Ewww! Thanks for the heads up Megan. Too bad! They have lots of nice plants. I don't need anymore unwelcome visitors though. I just cleared up a scale/mealy bug issue from another vendor. :(

Wow! I just received a shipment from them. Not a mite on any of the plants. In fact, what I received were healthy, happy, and in peak condition.

I first ordered from Hausermann back in about 1984 or 1985. They've always been first-class.
