Anybody use Ebay seller Cowboyflowerman?

I am thinking about placing an order with this seller (Secret Garden rare Plants) Feedback seems decent, but not perfect. They have some plants I really would like to try. Anybody here buy anything from them? How was service and shipping? Most importantly, how were the plants?

I've bought a few ferns from them. Honestly, what you see is not always what you get. The C. dowiana have been stepped up when the shouldn't have been. They are severely over-potted.

I have bought from him in the past and was satisfied until last week. I had ordered a Bear Claw Fern and a Brassada Orange Delight. They arrived in a timely fashion and were well packed. But...upon unpacking the Brassada, I discovered the two pseudobulbs were rotting at the base. There is no chance this plant will recover or survive. I fired off a rather stern letter to them saying that I did not wish to go to the time and expense of returning the plant and that the plant should never have been sent in the first place. I received a prompt reply saying they would refund my money. That was last Thursday. The fern was OK. I suppose mistakes can be made but, frankly, in all the time I have been ordering or buying online, this is the first time I have received a rotten plant.

I too have been eyeing their intergeneric's variety. One time I asked for a picture of the actual plant being sold and they said that the time and effort to take pictures of individual plants being sold and post them was not worth it and sorry for the inconvenience. They guaranteed a good quality plant though. I never bought it because Im not one to buy something that I dont know what Im gonna get. Least they gave a reasonable explanation. Maybe one day I'll try one
