Default Cal Orchids

Looking for Neofinetia falcata, and ran across Cal Orchids, anyone had any dealings with them. Looks like they have many unusual ones.

They have good stuff. The only thing is that you have to call to place your order.

I bought from them in person at an orchid show a little more than a year ago. They had a great selection of very healthy plants. The folks at the booth were super friendly, and most helpful. I hope your on-line/phone experience with them is just as good as my in person experience was.

They have great stuff and they are very friendly and easy to work with. I have bought alot of plants from them and have been very satisfied. There prices are also fair and they are folks that raise there own plants from seed/flasks. It is is not one of these buy and resale orchid places. FYI, the website is not really up to date, they have tons more items then what is posted, just call them!

The best way I have found to assess a place which sells orchids is to actually call them.
I personally am very comfortable with emails and internet and this is my preferred method of communication.
I will contact places by email with my questions and purchase interests.
But to be honest, the sweetest most fun conversations I have had as of late have been in contacting these nurseries by phone.
Such a wonderful friendly bunch no matter who I have called.
I must say a "day brightener"
So if you have any doubt...don't be shy and pick up the phone!

James and Lauris are good folks to deal with - very knowledgeable, very down-to-earth. Great selection of Japanese plants and a wonderful reed-stem Epidendrum breeding program.
