ISO Information on ClanOrchids

Hello -

The lovely wife is going to sign me up for a blooming orchid of the month subscription for my anniversary (best wife ever? yup). One of the vendors she's considering is Clanorchids

Camp Lot A Noise Online Greenhouse has orchid species, hybrid orchids, orchid care info, orchid supplies, flasking service and photos of orchids.

but I can't seem to find any info on these guys. Has anyone used them in the past?

The other 2 vendors under consideration are C&H and Hauserman - both of which I've found good info on from the OB.

Any advice on clan would be appreciated.

I haven't heard anything about them in years, but they were a first class operation when I did hear things. Are you sure they are still open?

Sorry this thread seems to have gotten swept away...I have no personal experience with CLAN but I do know people who have had nice things to say about them.

Carter & Holmes and Hausermann's both have good reputations. A few years back we had a bit of a snow mold in the roots situation with Hausermann's but it could have just been a one-time situation so I wouldn't count them out

I have ordered for them a couple of time over the years and was not sorry I did. I will order for them again.

I ordered from them last year and, as I recall, my experience was a positive one.
The other two vendors also are worthy of consideration.
