Default First Class Aquatics

To put it bluntly, Paul at First Class Aquatics is FIRST CLASS

My new Orchidarium arrived safe and sound and from the e-mails, Paul seems to fear the delivery of tanks as large as I ordered. Not to worry, it arrived safe and sound and the packing crate was a sight to see

I am working on an article documenting the whole process, but wanted to give FCA a thumbs up for anyone planning such an item in the future. Paul is easy to work with and extremely helpful in leading the client to the best design. I designed my own tank from scratch and made lots of changes as per his recommendations and am glad I did.

So, how big is it? Does it have front opening doors? Is it glass? Etc.. etc... etc....

Be patient! All in good time!

Seriously, I am doing the final fittings in between postings here and tried photographing the stages, but the black acrylic is hard to capture. Does this have your interest?

Back, one side and bottom are black (cheaper) and top, front and left are clear. That is hell to photo, let me tell you. But I am now dialing in the hygrometers (2 each) and I have really good seal with no extra misting (so far). That's all I'll leak for now

I agree, Paul is a great, very accommodating guy and his products are made with extreme care and precision.

Ross, How about a teaser pic I'm dying to catch a glimpse of the future orchidarium masterpiece !

OK already... here is a teaser

I shall be posting a blog or story on the progress from design to final product. Let me just say that as of now with a small (4x6) sponge in the tank it is keeping 68% humidity Why do I need Misters? "Cause of mold, I need fans and that will lower the humidity," That's why. Also, basement temp is 62 F right now. As it increases in summer, humidity will decrease.
