Andy's
I haven't purchased new orchids in years, but I had considered sending an order to Andy's some months ago. I hesitated, however, because of some complaints I found here on OB, but finally did go ahead and order, my second order in a couple of weeks! I am more than satisfied with what I received. The plants were well-packed, most of them were very large plants and all were healthy. They were shipped promptly and the order was filled completely - nothing out of stock or missing. Andy's is recommended.

I ordered a few minis from Andy's. What I got were some of the healthiest plants I've seen. I stuck them in a terrarium where they continue to thrive, months later.
I strongly recommend this vender.

You'll find a lot of Andy's fans on here. The best part is the follow-up phone call you'll get, to ask how the new 'chids are doing. That's some good customer service.

I did order and though I didn't get a follow-up phone call was very satisfied with the plants I received. They were good-sized, healthy and nothing on the order was unavailable. Would definitely order again.

Hmmmm.......I"m sorry but I've been less than impressed with the mail order side of Andy's. I have bought some miniatures from him @ shows, but the coelogyne that I got was basically rotted out. I relied on his reputation and didn't think to check the orchid upon arrival (my mistake) and the plant really had no viable roots.
So, while I would buy from him during shows, I would not buy from him again through the net.

I'll add my hoorays for Andys- the plants I got were in great shape and larger than I expected. I'm well pleased. I had some problems with using the internet order form and they called my promptly to help me straighten it out. This was my first order, but there will be more!
