Take one of the virtual tours on their website! I just did and it was fantastic! I would love to go there sometime.

I'm totally jealous of those of you who can drive to Al's. Without a car in Philly I'd have to Amtrak down to DC and take 3 local buses from there.
I ordered a single Mark Mini 'Holm' from him last week and the order arrived today as 2 plants at no extra charge. He had told me via email that he didn't think he had any more unbloomed in spike, but he would look again before shipping. He sent me one in bloom, with one bud still to open, plus another Mini Mark that doesn't have blooms, but whose spike tip looks like it may yet pop out another bud this season.
I know I'll be ordering more from Al. I see some nice Phal species and primary hybrids in his online catalog.

. . . . . Having fun today setting up all my new tolumnia in their temporary quarantine (coincidentally on the kitchen counter where I can watch them bloom!). Thanks, Al, for taking such great care of the plants, and making them available to the rest of us to then enjoy!

Hmmmm. . . . . sounds like quite a haul, do you have any ? I would love to see your Tolumnias as I am slightly getting addicted to them!

Ok, what are you guys doing? I've just received my BigLeaf orchids order, placed another order with Oak Hill for the new project plant and TC's, and I've been eyeing Al's Orchid Greenhouse's website for, like, EVER! Well, my birthday is right around the corner , so poor me will have to spend yet more money on orchids. AND ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, OB PEOPLE!

Oh darn, that's exactly what I was trying to resist the temptation to buy when I was looking through his online catalog a few hours ago. I'm already way over budget for the month - but not actually flat broke yet - maybe I will go ahead and get the luedemaniana.
