Ditto to Diane's questions. Might you post a picture as a guide? I am struggling with a C. loddigesii that got forced into a small box when it was shipped. It arrived in less than stellar condition

. The root mass was...well...less than life sustaining. I'd be up for a shot at water culture, if it will save my fading beauty.

Man, considering what icky had been through, you have done a heroic job trying to save her. Don't give up, though. I can attest to the return of green, and floral activities, even, when it looked as though all hope were lost! I have several that have survived the "black mushy death" and a couple that have come back from the dreaded "pot o' sticks" death, too!
