I've ordered from Andy's several times. I have had good experiences every time. Once I had buds blast shortly after arrival, but when you live in Maine and order from Calif. these things happen. The only drawback is I have a Laelia anceps that has not bloomed since I got it two years ago. The Laelia gouldiana from Andy's is blooming beautifully. I don't think I can blame Andy for a stubborn bloomer, though. It's in a bright light window facing a rather daunting snowscene outdoors. Andy's also calls after you order to make sure you are satisfied with your order. At least he always has with my orders.
I'm sorry, Angurek, that your experiences weren't as good as mine. I'm not familiar with the type you bought, and wondering if it is a difficult orchid to begin with. Still, the leaves should have all been intact.
