I bought a plant from them on ebay Tuesday. It was packed and shipped an hour later, and was on my doorstep the next day. I know FedEx had something to do with it, but I have never had something arrive 26 hrs. after I ordered it from anyone. WOW. The plant was very well packed, and really well grown. A+.

If you check out other threads in vendor feedback, you'll find that Kawamoto almost always gets raves. They're one of my favorites to order from; first-rate service, first-rate plants.

I just got a shipment from them and even my husband was in awe of the packaging! The plants were great (Tubaecum Snow Gem, an Aerides and 3 Catts) and were extremely reasonable in cost!

Gloria, I got a C. maxima var. coerulea, nbs. It looks really good, with two new growths started.

More raves about Kawamoto! Back in August I won an eBay auction of theirs for a Bulbophyllum longissimum. It bloomed this month, but actually turned out to be a hybrid, Cirr. 'Lovely Elizabeth.' Today I wrote Kawamoto to ask if I this could somehow be fixed; within a half hour of my e-mail I received a message that they had refunded my PayPal account for the full purchase price and shipping, no questions asked, based solely on my word. That's some pretty darn terrific customer service.

Note to self....add this vendor to the list of ones with whom I need to spend money.

Sounds like they are really good.

Another very pleased customer here. Add to that, the newspapers from there the plants come wrapped in. I get a kick out of reading newspapers from other states and those from Hawaii are really neat.

I'm a huge fan of Kawamoto as well. I recently purchased 4 catts (2 - 5 inch pot size and 2 - 2.5" pot size). Evidently, they were out of the 2.5" size, so they sent the 4" size instead at no extra charge. One of them is about to bloom! Needless to say, I'll be back for more.
