You can find a list of Canadian orchid vendors at The Canadian Orchid Congress. I personally vote for Paramount Orchids. They have an amazing selection and their website is great too! Paramount Orchids

Here's another question,
Where can someone buy variegated Neofinetia falcata in Canada?

Thanks,
That's the right species
I'm looking for special Japanese cultivars where they are cultivated for their foliage as well as blooms. The japanese refer to these orchids as fuukiran(富贵兰) or "Wealth and Rank Orchid".
Higashidemiyako (东出都)is a nice cultivar that is common in the states.
Here's an example of a show in Japan:
Grand Prix
(I don't type japanese characters I just copied them from somewhere nor am I japanese)

If you are not involved with your local orchid society, you should start. There is so much you can learn, and they also have plant sales!

CR Orchids is in B.C. and has lots of vanda type, as well as 1 vascostylus and some vanda/vasco crosses.
Also quite a few other orchids including catts and more!

Thanks! It's a shame they have no photos, and only one vascostylis.
Does anyone know how often a Vandastylis blooms?
I know that vascostylis can bloom often and are fragrant.
I'm hoping to find a red, but it is nice to have an orchid source close by.
