Vendors in PA

Are there any vendors in northern PA like hAWLEY or arround the area.

You have Parkside in Ottsville, a little south of Allentown. Not right next door to you, but certainly worth the trip. Very nice people and an excellent selection. I notice they have become a forum sponsor recently.

Went to Parkside yesterday and was nice to visit -
Sturday they have a free class at 10 am...
very nice plants - not too expensive not too cheap -
5 greenhouses - mostly Catts but a lot of other stuff.. they have a special on Masdevallias

You're going to be a bit hard pressed to find something in your area.

My parents live in Lakeville and I've not found anything when I visit.

My suggestions; Parkside as already mentioned, Little Brook Orchids in Lancaster, Fishing Creek Orchids in Harrisburg, and Silva Orchids in Jersey.

I haven't gotten over the border into New York to scout, but I suspect you'd have to get fairly close to Syracuse or NYC before you see anything.

well this thread started in Sep 2009... Maybe Eric is not near PA anymore!

Yea Parkside worth visiting as their shipping packing charges are so high that it may be cheaper to travel to their greenhouses and pick and choose the stuff yourself!

And probably a lot of stuff not listed on their webpage.
