Thanks in advance for any advice on this. I ordered 4 of the 5 phals available on their March special.
Thanks a bunch,
Dan
I always repot everything as soon as I get it. I did all 20 of mine from Oak Hill the day after delivery

I find my Phal species plants are all at their happiest either mounted (sideways or upside down) or in a basket hung sideways with some sphag. I use either cable ties or twist ties to hold down the plant roots and sphag.

I went all out and got the 20. What beauties they are. I'll snap a pic or two to post when I've got a bit more time
Hi Nichole! Yes, I did end up getting my order yesterday. At first I didn't think I was getting them since they didn't come through the mail like they said. They came later in the day by UPS. I was in a panic! lol I'm going to take some pics when I get home tonight. Everything looks great and I was really surprised that the seedlings I got were so big! Now I can't wait to go home tonight to play around with them.

FYI: at least 4 of the plant "seedlings" I received were large enough to divide!

I love being able to share with my friends

Wow! That's really cool! And it makes it an even better deal than it already was. I have seriously gotten phals from other vendors that were supposed to be blooming size and they are smaller than the ones I got from Oak Hill. Very impressive!

Default I went to Oak Hill last weekend

And bought a bulbophyllum, gongora and cattleya. I have always done pretty well at Oak Hill.

Yes, some of mine are certainly dividable too. I'd say the Stanhopeas are the biggest of mine. I think I'm going to leave them as one for now though. I don't have the space to be dividing them all! But, the next time re-potting is in order, someone may be the lucky recipient of a division
