Default Orchids in Bud/Spike?

Can people recommend good places to buy orchids in bud and or spike?

I know about Hauserman, Parkside and Orchids.com . . . just wondering if there were others out there.

Most of the orchid vendors will supply orchids in spike or bloom when they can. If that is what you need to purchase, then call the vendor of your choice and see what they have. Just my 2 cents.

I'm more looking for a place that I can regularly visist (online) for my instant gratification pleasure. I do make a habit of buying things in spike or bud because I know the plant is healthy and I am certain, no matter how much I screw up, that I will see it bloom once. But mostly I just like to have places bookmarked where I can go on my lunch break and I think "I can have that blooming in my office next week!" Instant gratification

Try these online companies. I have bought from all of them and have been very please with the quality and service. As noted above, can't go wrong with Andy's either. Excellent plants and service there as well.

i like hausermanns, carmela orchids and aloha orchids for budded and blooming orchids, but its best to call to check the status of the blooms before ordering....good luck and happy instant gratification!!!!

My favorite vendors are H&R, Tropical Orchid Farm, Kawamoto Orchids and Exotic Orchids of Maui. The only reason I mention this is because Ive noticed a lot of mainland farms will try to jack up the price of plants that are budded or in flower while non of the Hawaiian vendors feel the need to do so. Just give them a call an they can tell you which plants are putting on a show. But then again, Im always biased towards my local growers!
