Stonedragonfarms,

I am looking to find a reliable source to import harder to find species. We like to get in orchids that most people are afraid to try and grow or species that you rarely seem to find. I have a cities and an import license so that is not a problem. Let me know if you have a list of RESPONSIBLE importers. NO RUNNERS

That is funny. You say the plants were left at the airport for 5 days. maybe if the person from Lady Let sending the plants labeled the box correctly it would not have been held. I called the USDA the day after the shipment was delivered. I was then told it had to be sent back due to disease,pests whatever the case they were not good enough to pass customs. Rey said he did not want to pay to have them sent back. He said to have them destroyed. I can post every email that was sent stating this. The only reason they sat there for 5 days was cause Rey said we needed to have them released. Well that cant be done if the USDA will not let us. I dont think we should have to suffer because of something he did not catch on his end. The list of plants he packed was not even all of the things I ordered. I will not take back anything I have said. I feel like I was done wrong. I tried working with him and all he could keep telling me was MORE MONEY. I will not fork out more money for plants that I have already paid for.

As a orchid vendor, I sell plants. If my customer has a problem I come to an agreement with him to solve the problem, not ask him for more money. If I did that he would never order from me again.

The fact is, I paid for plants and extra to send the money via moneygram to his account. What did I get, NOTHING. That is not my fault! I DID NOT SHIP THEM. What is so hard to understand that USDA said they could not come into the US. That was not my decision so how can you say that I left them there. They went to the USDA not the airport.

Who are you addressing here?

If whatever is going on becomes an argument, it will not take place here in our forums.

All parties involved can do it through email or whatever venue the parties choose other than Orchidboard.

I have told you about a couple farms that export..... How did you get on with them?

The guy who claimed that I left the plants at the airport for 5 days, and tried making it look like it was my fault. I dont want to start problems. I also dont want to see other people get ripped off. I have a list of 15 different people that have paid for plants and its going on a year and still no plants.

Orchidmall pulled the name due to all of the complaints. I would hope that people here could learn from my misfortune dealing with Lady Let.

The guy who is speaking for lady let, does not have the facts straight and I dont think he should make comments about the situation without having the facts. AOS is being contacted along with all the correct goverment officials. Why should people send money to importers and not be able to do something about getting ripped off.

Orchidmall, but they were pulled from their due to the problem. There were enough people that coplained to have them removed.

At the end of February 2008 i transfer big sum (few thousand dollars) to Rey Salvatero for big orchid order. Since thiat i did not receive plants and did not receive money back. Last letter which i receive from Rey, with his regulary "i will sent plants tomorrow" dated November 13. It`s happened when i tired to hear his false explanation "i was sick", "there was terrible hurricane", "many plants is in bad condition", "i was in hospital" but every single letter Rey swear "sent plants this week" "next week" "very soon" and tonn of excuses.
So when i tired from this, i asks Rey simple sent money back and guess what? Right. Since that nobody answer me by e-mail, i still have no plants and no money. Also nobody pick up the phone and no any reaction for SMS message.
This gay is thief. That all i can say. Beware of him!
I wait for plants (or money back) more, then year. So i think i can say that.

All I can say is you might want to contact your embassy. Hopefully if enough people contact the right people he will never be able to rip people off again. We have already contacted the internet fraud company. We are also contacting AOS. You might want to contact anyone you can. Im sorry to see you had to go through the same thing many others are going throuh. All I can say is it doesnt look good for any of us.
