Ordering Supplies
I live in an area that offers NO supplies. So I have to order every little thing.
I'm looking to order clay pot wire hangers and noticed quite a difference in price on these little things.
Where do you recommend getting these and potting supplies like Large charcoal?
Thanks for any input!

I'm fortunate to live near many places. but I do like
Broward Orchid Supply
Call toll free 1-877-9ORCHID (877-967-2443) or 954-925-2021
and then there are a couple OB sponsor's that are great. Ray's and Jim's just click on the sponsor on the left under site menu. Good luck.

Tropical Plant Products is decent too. They're in Orlando, so shipping to Arkansas shouldn't be prohibitively expensive:

Thanks ya'll! I was a little surprised (don't know why) that those 2 wire clay pot hangers are anywhere from 2 bucks to $2.25 each.
I put my bigger pots inside hanging (plastic) pots that I've saved up from summer plants ect. But I thought it would be nice to do away with the double pots and hang my clay pots. It would save lots of room, too, since most of those hanging pots are like 10-12 inches.
So I appreciate the information!

And one more to consider. I get all of my supplies from this supplier. I live right near and don't order on-line but their prices are great. Green Barn Orchid Supplies : Home
Another excellent source is Machiela Orchids. Machiela's Orchids and also, on ebay under machiela

Looking at the links Ross so graciously provided, I found double hangers at Calwest very reasonable. But they look somehow different than the ones, say at Kelly's Korner.
They look lighter made, somehow? Would anyone care to look and comment?

Funny you should mention that they look lighter (I haven't looked at them yet) because I ordered clear pots with slits from Calwest and they are much thinner than any other clear pot I've ever ordered from other places.
I got an email today from OFE International reminding me that they are offering a 5% discount for web orders through the end of October. They have lots of stuff...from my experience, I don't like the long-fibered sphag from them but the other stuff is good.

Thanks Gin, they look pretty reasonable on their stuff.
Cost is important but so is quality, at least to me!
