Default Lynn O'Shaughnessy

Hi,

I just ordered three new orchids, uhmm don't tell my fiancee... I will hide them in the office, from Lynn O'Shaughnessy. The shipping was fast, and professionaly done. I got one in bloom too! I ordered over the phone which was very easy, easier than through the net and I gotta say the prices were really good, nice and modest. ++++

I got
M. Inca Snow,
Masdevallia Inca Snow
with one bloom. She said it only had three leaves due to a rough summer, so she sent me a bonus hybrid,
M. Roofus (White Swallow X Minaret).Masdevallia Roofus
I also ordered Pluerothallis (Orbis) truncata, I fell in love with the pic she had on her website.
Orbis truncata

Very nice additions Tindo. I won't tell if you won't. However, if you are caught, you can always tell her that someone framed you

Wonderful! I love the Orbis - I really am seeking after strong oranges and red-orange in my collection. I really am taken with the Masdies and I seem to be able to grow them in my temps OK. Just one thought though, don't go for Masdie striatella - it smells real funky like dirty gym socks, or worse

You wouldn't know from the pics: IOSPE PHOTOS Mine is really big like this and doesn't stink up a room, but don't stick your nose in the flowers

Really????? Hmm.. Stop tempting me. I really am taking my chances with these Pleuro types. Im keeping all of them except M. floribunda and Platystele stenostycha next to a window in my cool office (for temp control, near AC in summer) hanging over an open aquarium sort of setup for humidity. So far, no deaths and some good growth from them. No blooms yet, but Ross, you would be proud, I have started fertilizing regularly.
So pray for these guys, I'm sure the Orbis would be a real show stopper if it bloomed on me.

They sound like great plants and you bought them from a great grower.
