I'll go even better than a kiss--wipe its leaves clean from all of the dirt it's accumulated from spending the summer on my deck, give it a nice spray of insecticidal soap, and tuck it away in a south-facing window for the long winter. It'll probably be infinitely more appreciative of those things than a big wet mammalian kiss. :-)
