Jewell Orchids
I came across this site while looking for blue catts. They had several that sounded nice so I gave them a try. My new chids arrived yesterday in very good condition. Perhaps a little small for the pot size, but NO SPHAG! The catt is in charcoal chunks, with a bunch of healthy, visable, roots. I'll be ordering for them again. Plus, I'm a sucker for hand written thank you notes.

Jewell orchids, as in Ludisia, etc.? I don't get the bark. Normally they are grown in pure sphagnum. Maybe I'm missing something here. I'm with Dorothy, pictures please.

No no guys. 'Jewell Orchids' is the name of the company.
Jewell Orchids. I never thought of taking pics of a couple of new seedlings.

I ordered from them this season. I was very pleased as well. They have a few gems too (pun intended).

Kim,
Thanks for the thumbs up ![Thumbs Up](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif) on this vendor. I'm always leary of trying someone new when I haven't heard anything about them before. I've got them booked marked on IE now, and will take a look at their catalog later.
Royal...a second thumbs up makes it that much sweeter. ![Thumbs Up](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif) Thanks!

I can also add a thumbs-up for Jewell Orchids. Got a small Catt hybrid from them (Mrs. Mahler x aclandiae); arrived in perfect health, and is already shooting out new roots and a new growth a month later. Plus the folks there were prompt and helpful in answering questions. :iagree:
