Olympic Orchids - Thumbs up

This is a cross-post; similar thread in the Bulbophyllum forum. I have nothing but praise for the folks at Olympic Orchids. After e-mailing me that the Bulbophyllum kalimpong I ordered was out of stock, they immediately offered me blooming-size divisions of three other bulbo species, all for the same price I paid for the single kalimpong. Plus they were very patient and helpful with recommendations tailored to my individual growing conditions. Now that's some good customer service.

I checked out their website .. the only thing that I didn't care for is that most of the orchids are in 2 inch pots .. They might take a bit of time before they bloom ...

Hi Dorothy, I bought these in the list;

And I don't like tiny ones either, but I have lots of patience for them
I usually buy small ones, due to I hate spending BIG $$ for them.
I'd rather buy these, being honest in their 2" pots, instead of of sellers putting small plants in 4" pots and selling for a 4" Pot PRICE $$!

I just got one today, won't say a name of seller, but WOWSIE!! I paid $30 for this + ship, and she should've been in a 1" pot, if ya know what I mean... But was in a 4".

At least when I see these prices below, I know she's gonna be small. For the $40 I spent, I truly expected a MUCH larger Chid! So I'll be happy when I get these, I think.

Plus, If I'd bought only 2 from the 'other' seller in thier 4" pots, I'd equal this seller in Price, for the 10 I ordered from today!

D, these guys say right up front that they specialize in seedlings. That's why they're so small....and so cheap.
