Orchids on Ebay
I am still relatively new to growing orchids. In my immediate are (Northwest Georgia) the only places I have been able to find orchids is at Lowe's, HD and WM. To expand my collection I havve made quite a few Ebay purchases. Most sellers have been fantastic with only one I felt was 'not so good'. Here are some of the sellers who treated me right, shipped orchids quickly and securely and I will do business with again (most I have already bought from 2+ times).
The Orchid Gallery - Nice, large plants, secure shipping
Nia's Orchids - Varied selection, good prices, secure shipping
shermantp - Super healthy plants, secure shipping
Heavenly Orchids - Large, healthy plants, good value
Wilk's Orchids - Super fast shipping from Hawaii
Larry's Orchids - No individual pics, but I read the description closely and got exactly what I expected. When I paid for multiple items before a combined invoice was sent, hence over-paying for shipping, they more than made up for the $$$ by adding in a surprise!
Shipping cost is one of those variables that I see as a necessary evil. All sellers combined shipping with some costs more than others, but all were worth the price as the orchids were packaged well and arrived safely. The only exception was not the sellers fault. A fill-in postman/woman folded a box in half to fit it in my box, breaking a spike.

I have also bought from shermantp and larry's and agree with you whole-heartedly.
I would surely do business with the both of them again!

With gas prices, shipping cost seem like a steal. Especially when you get combined shipping from ebay vendors. GreggnKay I live in Locust Grove, Ga and I make the drive ever now and then up to Woodstock to Peach State Orchids. Not a huge place but you could spend and hour or two in there. There website is http://www.peachstateorchids.com. Don't go by what there website says, they have much more than the standard Phals you get at the HD. Email them to see if they have what your looking for. I never leave empty handed.

Its nice to see that Wilk Orchids made your list! The owner is a really great guy and is a friend of mine. He actually recruited me to my current orchid society.

Hi greggnkay,
You might want to drop me a PM, one of the people on your list has recently given two of us problems.
Some of the others I have used and agree with you,
Some I have yet to use but will keep your recommendations in mind.
Thank you,
AL
