Hey guys,
Well I got my orchid today from antiques1904 on ebay. It is always sad to see an orchid in that kind of shape, especially after waiting so long. If anyone wants details just PM me. Keep the board clean I guess.

Neil, I'm so sorry to hear about the orchid you waited so long for. I really can relate.
Any chance for it if you really, really baby it?

I am not an expert but I have rescued some pretty rough house plants and orchids over the past few years. I don't think this is one of those times. I put it in a bag/sphag ,however there is not any viable growth to keep it going. Never say never I guess. Everything was so dried out, flat roots and wilted leaves. Trying to get something worked out on the orchid so I will update in a few days.

I only had that happen to me once on ebay. I checked their feedback and it was all good, until I won the bid. Then, all of the sudden negative feedback was everywhere, and then they stopped selling. I thought I wasn't going to get it. I notified paypal, and whaddya know, but the orchid just showed up on my doorstep about 4 days later. It was a cymbidium, luckily, and was packed horribly. It was a division, that was just whacked off the mother plant, not what was posted for sale. It did have 3 pseudobulbs, so I just let it go. At least I got something.

I haven't bought much from eBay yet, (still new to orchids) but I have bought about 10 from incredibleorchids on there and he is great. Has some great selection, VERY healthy plants, fast shipping, and whenever I have asked him a question, I usually get an answer the very same day. So I would highly recommend him.

IncredibleOrchids aka Brian is a member here on OB...you can usually find some of his listings here in the classified section of the forums.
Everybody here who has placed an order with Brian has been very happy
