Default Botanica Ltd. and J & L Orchids

Has anyone ever ordered from these guys?
I never hear mention of them. I've ordered two plants once from Botanica Ltd.
One plant, the Maxillaria variabilis is doing well, but the Slc. Charming Jewel 'Tristin' is history now. Some type of virus.
Both were small plants to begin with, but when the Slc. started looking bad from the start and I emailed them, I never got a response. The prices are resonable and I know that sometimes these things happen, but anyone else order from them?
J & L Orchids sells miniatures and is out of Conn. and they were featured at our Orchid Society meeting. They had a wonderful display of miniatures. I bought 3 plants, very resonably priced (2 Restrepias and a Pleurothllis) and I've been doing very well with these. Although mini's, the plants had alot of activity going on...spikes and buds.... at the time of purchase.

I ordered from J&L in January, the plants were actively growing and some were in spike and they are doing great.

Ive heard a lot of good things about J&L. Lots of folks from my society buy from them. As far as Botanica goes, I've bought several plants from them off ebay in the past. Always had really good luck with them.

Yeah, can't say I've had experience with either of them, but I've heard a lot of people here speak very highly of J&L. (And, I've been VERY tempted to order from them since they have all the minis! )
