I hear ya, Utah. It is addictive. However, I am telling myself that the shipping this time of the year can be "risky" due to the weather ( I am in Pacific NW.)
As for Bill_Asia's plants, I bought one of his Vandas (Mokara) a few month ago. It came with 2 sad looking roots. After having given it TLC, it now started growing a "big fat" root. I was about to give up on it, though.

Just thought I'd add another to this thread...Marni Turkel sells some amazing and unusual species via her ebay store mostlyspecies. I just got a division of Bulbophyllum pardalotum from her and it is fantastic quality! Great packaging job and she was really easy to communicate with.

Just add the sellers you like into your search to avoid "those other" sellers. :-)
Now I'm going to have to check out chiaki_ayumi. Careful with eBay - it's addictive! Right now I'm watching 12 plants and have no where to put them. Stop me!!!!

I have to second theorchidgallery. I have gotten several plants from her and they have always been wonderful plants and in great shape.
Another one I haven't seen mentioned is angelstreetorchids. I've shopped with them a couple of times and have been pleased. The last order I placed ended up getting delayed by the post office and sat around over a long holiday weekend. The orchids still looked fantastic!

I'm not excited about Nia22d but I cannot pin down my dissatisfaction. I think I like Orchid 570. Remember, I stated before, I have sworn off Ebay vendors as a class and don't even look there but I did, and these are impression from then.

Speaking of Bill_Asia or ROC, what happened to his store? I happened to check the other day and it was close and say due to winter season or something? I also purchased my first Ebay orchids from him a few months ago and not a very pleasant experience, dead roots and shipping took forever.

I have bought about 10 different ones from incredibleorchids on ebay and he is great. Very healthy plants, fast shipping, and great communication. I highly recommend him to everyone. www.shop.ebay.com/merchant/incredibleorchids

The thing with E-bay is just use Paypal, there buyer protection for plants or plant type products is horrible for the seller. You don't like it they refund, thats it. You don't have to return it, you don't have to prove anything, its really bad for a seller view point.
You have a problem the seller won't handle quickly just open a dispute and there policy is to refund the cost of the plant + prorated shipping. (you purchase 4 plants at $10 total shipping, you dispute 1 plant you get $2.5 refunded for shipping)

Just wanted to add another good word to these 6.
bandbandmandt - The few times I've tried contacting them, they were slow or did not respond, but I received a very healthy plant quickly and would and have ordered from again.
canbyorchid - Good place all around, you have 30 days to pay and can rack up a good number of plants in that time so be careful!
cschaz - Good communication, one of the better ones as far of communication goes.
machiela - Only order 2 from here, but they were good healthy plants with no problems.
myphals - Always good communication and good quality plants.
vplcud - Rarely offers stuff up, but when he does they are worth the wait. I've only been able to win a handful of things, but shipping and quality were good.
