Positive review for Jewell Orchids
I had bought a single mini cattleya from Jewell through eBay a few years ago, and I have been enjoying it since. I recently placed an order through their website for five more plants. The experience was positive.
The plants (the five I ordered and received, and one bonus plant they included) look very good -- all well rooted and healthy looking. All were negative for viruses on Agdia kits (tested each plant individually). Packaging was good, and they were shipped on time.
There was a hitch with shipping -- UPS's fault, not the seller's fault at all -- and Jewell went through a lot of trouble to try to help. Everything turned out fine with the shipping. Jewell was very supportive through the process. Customer service was good.
Jewell breeds at least some of their own plants, which I think is a plus.
I'll be looking forward to the next time I get to order from Jewell.
