Best Order Ever: Check out Ecuagenera
Just placed the coolest order ever! Ecuagenera has some new stock and a lot is on sale. Pretty pumped about this. No idea where I'm going to put them, but I'll find these a spot.
1 Cattleya dowiana
1 Cattleya dowiana aurea
1 Encyclia randii
1 Dendrobium sulcatum
1 Phalaenopsis gigantea
1 Cattleya Dominiana (1859) coerulea

Dowiana is my favorite so this order is crazy exciting. Hopefully they will both bloom this summer.
The Phal gigantea was only $20, which I thought was insane.
The Dominiana is a coerula, which I didn't know was possible with dowiana.

Their Web site is a little difficult to use. You can go through genera alphabetically from their top menu. There are different sections for Orchid Species and Hybrids.

Yeah good point about the Dominiana coerula. Interesting... the photo on the website looks beautiful !
I've yet to see a dowiana in person so I'm super excited for you if it blooms this year! I have a couple of tiny seedlings and one is nearing blooming size now.

Me too! I have two Dowiana aurea 4n from SVO from April 2020 that I believe are nearing maturing this year. Still couldn't pass up an opportunity to buy adult plants.
