I have made two light purchases from these fine folks. The most recent delivery had issues, and I thought someone may be interested to know how Jeff at The Orchid Hobbyist handled them.
The order was place Dec.28 (I know. Not the most prudent time to order anything) and shipped via UPS on Jan. 3. The package failed to show up by Jan 8 and I started digging. I emailed the seller about it and got a prompt reply with the tracking number. I followed the tracking number which led to another tracking number for the USPS. I thought that was odd, but I followed this tracking number and found the package had taken four days to reach the LA regional center from less than 100 miles away. It sat in LA for several days. I called Jeff on the phone, which he answered personally, and told him what I had found. He offered to send another light if it didn't move in the next few days. The package found its way to Memphis, TN on the 11th. Then on to Baton Rouge, which is the local regional for me. I finally received the package on 1/18. Fifteen days after it had been shipped! Jeff stayed in communication with me throughout this ordeal.
During this process I had noticed a double payment in both PayPal and my bank account. I emailed Jeff, asking him to check his records. He found the same double payment and promptly refunded the second.
