I have had to deal with Norman's, when I was chair of the charity auction for local orchid societies (more than 1). Without going into specific details, let me put it this way:
If buying for myself, I would NEVER buy anything from Norman.
Industry people have given me various 'heads-ups' about Norman. The kindest one is 're-naming Norman'.
I know the individual who used to edit his web site (and whom he stiffed for $5K). In brief, as far as orchid ethics, he has none.
