I've also got the growing rack and the Exo tank! LOL
Why not go with minis? ITTY Bitty growing space! LOVELY blooms. Cash and carry. LOL It will make any place you land, feel like a home.
Edited to add: AND they're quite easy to smuggle in the house. NOT that I would stoop so low.

hhahahah Im usually looking at smaller phals! Like Dtps and such I think they're cute and are perfect for someone who may be on the move
I dont think I would need to smuggle anything, my mom/family doesnt live with me... but she gets the news that I got some lovely orchids
I think I'll place an order for one... or two , + I need some supplies like pots, potting medium, fungicide and humidity tray haha. I manage to always have expensive hobbies! WHYYY lol.

You could go even smaller. . .TINY. And this is big, as far as tiny goes but note how tote-able it is.

Hi Cookiemonster! I bought the Dtps. Purple Martin KS from Big Leaf too. It's a cute little plant, and I don't think it's supposed to get very big. I thought I read the flowers were only 1" in diameter? Mine has been busy growing leaves, though it has an ongoing issue with leaf blisters I can't figure out. I'm sure it's me not the plant. Peter also sent me a freebie. You really can't go wrong with Big Leaf.
Gwen, I'm so laughing here. I bought EXACTLY the same Tolumnia hybrid last weekend. We really must have similar tastes!

Well, I DO just love all the orchids you pick out!
I bought that little Tolu. yesterday. It's supposed to bloom in four colors! Mine is in spike and bud. I don't know if you can see it in the picture. I'll post pics as soon as it blooms.
And you know I expect to see your's when it blooms too!

Ask and you shall receive. It's not the best pic, doesn't really capture the color very well. It had 3 flowers open when I bought it, and there are more opening every day. I think you and I will need to pick Ross's brain about culture for these guys.
Sorry for the . I'll be quiet now.
