My experience with orchidweb, also known as Orchids Limited, is that they have some nice orchids but are known to be pretty pricey as compared to other well-known vendors. Those interested can do an advanced search on the Vendor Feedback forum.

I have gotten great plants from Orchidweb.com . It is an excellent place to get the unusual orchid, or special cultivars. (You get what you pay for...) If you are into Neofineta falcata (fukiran) they have some unique ones. For the connoisseur.

I've never seen healthier orchids than what I've purchased at Orchidweb. Their stock is always a beautiful green and their leaves are almost always near flawless.

Their videos are a nice supplement - especially when you can see the orchid they are selling on video.

I live locally - so I don't have experience with their shipping - but they are such a professional operation that I can't imagine it would be anything but great.

Their prices are higher, but again and again I find that buying 1 plant from them is more beneficial than buying cheaper plants from other less reputable sellers. I've never had one of their plants die. They are a great example of you get what you pay for.

Orchidweb is a little pricey but you will always get a great plant. Their archives are an excellent source for plant information too

Jason spoke to our Society a few months ago on Phrags. He convinced me Den. papilio doesn't necessarily want cool summers, rather cool winters. So far so good.
