Natt's Orchids
I have to be honest, this is the first time someone sent me the orchids first without taking payment information. He had no way of knowing if I am who I said I was or whether I was an honest individual. As far as I could tell, he wasn't sure if there would be shipping damages or something. But nevertheless, my plants all arrived fine and healthy and decently sizable. Value was pretty good for the money, although shipping was a bit expensive from Chicago, but that's not Natt's fault. I got a foot tall pseudobulb division of Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft' for $35 and a pretty bushy Pescatoria dayana for $25, among others. I've paid more for smaller plants from some of the other "reputable" sellers here, so I'm satisfied.
And I paid him after. Imagine that lol

I have several plants that I purchased from Natt's. I have never ordered online from them; all mine are from various orchid shows near me where they have had a vendor's table. I've always thought their plant quality, prices, and customer service were top-notch!

I have to be honest too. That style of business operation is uncommon. Would be interesting to know later whether or not that's the usual procedure for their business.

I've had a good experience with Natt's as well. I inquired about an orchid they used to list on their website and they were very responsive. They let me know that they were holding the plant due to cold weather and let me know when it was shipped. The plant was a nice size for the price.

Like Cheri, I've always purchased from shows. But the plants I purchased from Matt were all top notch.

That is standard for Lehua Orchids, too. Invoice is in the box with the plants. Mail him a check.
Generally speaking, orchid growers are not low-lifes who will stick it to a vendor. Their fraction is growing as the hobby becomes more common, but that’s society for you.

Kudos to Natt. My orders from him have produced lovely, healthy plants and selection is quite vast. I'll buy again.

Love Natt's! They usually have a lot more that what appears on their webpage (I say usually, because of the pandemic, they might not have as much on hand).

True Ray! That's the life story of human populations. The bulk are good. It's the remainder that can/may spoil things for all. But interesting and also good to know that some orchid nurseries operate with the send-first, receive later method. Good to know that the method is workable for them, and Natt's (assuming Natt's does the same thing).

I LOVE Natt's Orchids too!
Natt always responds to all e-mails and the plants I get from him are top notch. He has a good selection too. He honors my requests for signs of new roots (for conversion to semi hydro) when he can. As far as invoicing, I get an e-mail that my purchase has shipped, followed shortly with a link to pay for my purchase. (He ships on Mondays.) In my experience, his prices are MUCH more reasonable than other vendors.
I rate Natt's Orchids at 10 out of 10!
