Any Talbott Nursery (TX) experiences? Female
Default Any Talbott Nursery (TX) experiences?

Hi all,

I have come across a nursery in Texas, which sells some nice smaller Phal species & hybrids (among other orchids). Talbott Nursery. They are reasonably priced for someone who prefers to hoard in the most cost effective way. (Read: cheap seedlings)

For example: PHALAENOPSIS orchid

Does anyone have any experience with them? The Google reviews aren't always glowing, but I found those to regard blueberry bushes & the like. Nothing on orchids.

TIA
Natalie

I don't know that nursery, but the amboinensis you linked is absolutely not an amboinensis.

The rest of Phal pics seems correct, but that first mislabel and reviews send mixed feelings.

That said their products are indeed affordable, maybe start with one before bulk ordering?

I think that linked orchid is meant to be a hybrid, with the cross not listed? I don't know. This is the correct one I meant to post! A more true amboinensis.
PHALAENOPSIS orchid

Thanks for bringing this page up, I had forgotten about Dave's Garden. The first negative review is from a month ago and regards orchids. Sad, I think I did find it too good to be true.

If you're looking for small seedlings go to Olympic Orchids.
