Hausermann order
I decided to give Hausermann a try after reading lots of positive things about them. I'm very happy with what I was sent.
Purchased:
SLC Aloha Apricot Compact
Neofinetia falcata
Phalaenopsis Jiaho's Pink Girl

And, the roots are always great, too. I use red lava rock for most of my orchids so I always pot the orchids up as soon as they arrive and I have always been very impressed with how healthy the roots are. Hausermann's does a nice job.

Lovely! Can I ask which size Neofinetia you purchased from Hausermann? I am debating which size to buy from them for my order. Thanks!

I have a dozen plants in my "basket" at Hausermann but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've never bought from them but am eager to give it a shot. My only trepidation is I think I want to wait until late Oct when I can have them shipped straight to the Keys where I do my growing vs sending them to my current intermediate spot here in NH where I will then have to take them south myself.
Hopefully most of the ones I want will still be available. I wonder if they'd take the order now and ship later???????

Doesn't hurt to ask. And late October is not that far away any more. Time flies!

I have been able to place an order several weeks in advance of being able to pick it up. I think you could order and ask for delayed shipment. It is a little outside the usual process. If you order online, put someone in the comments area. I did it all by phone and everything was perfect. So happy right now that I was able to be there for their February-March anniversary celebration...no OrchidFest this Sept for obvious reasons.
Hausermanns does not ship when it is cold. Normally that wouldn't be a concern for October, but given the weather this week it might be something to keep in mind. Maybe we'll have a late October second summer.

Yes, they will. I've ordered from them before and asked if they will hold it for a bit, and they did. They are one of the best nurseries in the country, both in regard to the quality of the plants, and their customer service. I think they will be happy to accommodate you.

I can't believe you made it out with just three plants hahahahaha. I don't think I've every ordered any fewer than 5 plants from them lol
