I needed some lose coconut hair fiber to line the basket that my new Stanhopea is going to be potted in. I found it here at Floriculture, for a reasonable price. I should have checked at Kelley's Korner first. It was 20 dollars for a pound, and when I got to the checkout page, it said the shipping was going to be 32 dollars. I did not buy it.

A couple days later I got an email from them saying that if the reason I didn't complete my purchase was because of the shipping, not to worry. The system that automatically calculates shipping does not work properly, and if I send them my address, they will give me an accurate shipping charge. I thought okay no problem. I'll order it and they'll adjust the shipping. Well, I send my address and I ordered it, and they still charged 52.80 to my credit card.

I emailed them and asked if they were going to refund the difference in shipping to my credit card. I got no answer. The package still had not shipped 3 days later. Then I found the same product at Kelley's Korner for about the same price, for 8 dollars shipping. I emailed Floriculture and told them that I found a better price elsewhere, and they haven't shipped my package yet, so I just want to cancel my order and get a refund. That was yesterday.

Today I still have not heard anything from them, and the package has still not shipped, so I called my credit card company to open a dispute. The credit card company is going to escalate the dispute. I'm sure I'll win, but I'll keep you guys posted. But I'd stay far away from Floriculture if I were you. I'll certainly never shop there again.
