Hi Guys and Gals,
(note, in a non-binary society i realize that this may be exclusive and for that I apologize. i am trying to be more mindful of adapting my lexicon to be more inclusive but i am a habituated speaker and i have a hard time shaking certain habits and phrases and this one is from my grandmother that is very stuck, i will leave this hear for the sake of discussion and informing a dialogue, that should be had in another thread)

Hi All,

So i placed a modest order to make sure that my stratiotes would not be lonely and it arrived in 48 hours. There were two issues with the order and I emailed them and received a response within, i kid you not, 15 minutes that they would have a package out Friday ( not sooner to avoid a shipping delay with the weekend, clever) and they were sorry about the mix up.

that, to me, is the best service you can ever ask for. there can be all manner of problems in a business and especially one that involves third parties and living plants and the real mark of excellence is caring that the customer gets what they wanted and expected.

I WILL be ordering from them again!

and the stratiotes is AMAZING!!!

Thanks, Kalapana!!

I have actually had mixed results with Kalapana. Some of the things I've received from them have been nice, but other things have been poorly rooted in the pots as if they were just repotted from a smaller pot into a larger pot in order to sell the plant for a higher price, or plants that had no live roots and shriveled pbulbs. All of the plants were salvageable, so I never contacted them about them, but I guess after your report about their amazing customer service, I wish maybe I had contacted them. They are not my first choice ever. I check their site from time to time, but if I find something I want, I always try to find it somewhere else first, and only buy from them if I can't find it anywhere else.

Sorry to send you in that direction, DirtyCoconuts. I've ordered from them once, and I didn't have any issues. I'm glad things worked out for you in the end!

I am bummed to hear that, buddy.

Based on my experience I would say you should have reached out. I ordered five plants and only got four. I also had one plant that had come unpotted.
I emailed and told them about the missing plant and that one had unpotted but that it was certainly salvageable, just a bit of a mess and slightly beaten.

They are sending the missing plant and a replacement for this one which was not even considered by me, let alone asked for. I appreciate that they want to make it right and I feel good about it

No worries at all, Jeff.

I was very pleased with how it was handled and they did the right thing. I am old enough to know that mistakes get made, it is how one handles that that reveals the character.
