Let's Talk Plants

I have looked at his listings on EBAY. I personally feel that the Negative feedback comments are quite serious complaints, and I don't think I would buy from this guy.

I just bought a Bletia florida from him, which by the wording seems like was part of a lot bought originally from Tropical Orchid Farm. The soil was a little shaken up and the leaves were a bit unhappy, but the p-bulbs are just amazing. When I asked about fixing the soil, he sent some close up pics of a plant in his collection.

The only possibly problem was the roots were rather high in the soil and trying to grow upward, which... his fault, his suppliers fault, the plant's nature?

I just love Let's Talk Plants. Tony Wells is a prince of a man. He's very customer service oriented. He has helped me find plants I couldn't find anywhere else, and his plants are always great. I know for certain that if I ever had a problem with a plant that I got from him, he would absolutely make it right, and would do so with a smile on his face.

WHen he sends me plants, he always sends a little container of time release fertilizer. I started using it and I came to like it very much. I emailed him and asked him if he sold it, or if he knew where he could get it. He buys it by massive quantities at a time and doesn't sell it retail. In fact, I think it only comes in like 50 pound bags. But he was nice enough to work with me and figure out a way for me to place an order, and he sent me 9 pounds of the fertilizer. He didn't have to do that, but he did, because he's that kind of guy. I think very highly of his company, and I think very highly of him as a person as well.
