Carmela Orchids
Another "Duh" review but my experience with this well respected Orchid grower was just too amazing not to share.
Carmela Orchids was selling their Phal. Orchid World 'Carmela Orchids' AM/AOS for $30 shipping included. I also wanted to add a $8 Pot. Haw Yuan Gold 'YK No.2' FCC/RHS seedling but it also added an additional $30 shipping charge making the seedling $38. I email them and they agreed to refund the $30 so I got the Phal and Pot. delivered to my door for $38!
Shipped the day of the order.
Now, that in and of itself is worth writing this review, but look what I got!
Phal - In bloom, 6" pot, two plants!! Gorgeous and fragrant.
Pot. - "Seedling in 2.5 inch pot" grew out of said pot a couple years ago and into another pot. This thing looks like blooming size (about 18" tall). For $8 free shipping.
Best deal I have ever gotten on plants and I order a lot.

I was confused for a second then elated. This hobby provides daily moments of bliss, when you discover a new growth or spike, but that was especially unexpected. Let us know what you pick up!

Carmela was a major help getting First Rays started.
They offered a sale - "any 10 plants for $150". I ordered ten of a hybrid they were selling individually for $125. They sold them to me for the sale price.
I resold 9, giving me "seed money" to continue on...

I will have to check them out, although I should hold off a while because I already bought lots of 'chids already this year.

Wow! Sounds like they have been making people smile for a long time. It's cool of you to give them some credit Ray.
Some of their deals are hard to believe. Right now two in bud cattleyas shipping included for $62.

I've ordered a "4-inch" Grammatophyllum from them and received a 12"+ plant with multiple spikes. ...pretty shocked (in a great way) to get that package.

I ordered a special in February, I believe it is 6 3.5" cattleyas for $135 shipped. They had to hold it since the plants would not survive the trip to my house at that time of year. I nudged them about it yesterday and they shipped today. Looking forward to what I get in my package on Friday!
