This glowing review may be unnecessary as Sunset Valley Orchids reputation speaks for itself, but I would be an ingrate if I didn't share my wonderful experience with SVO.
This is the fifth time I have ordered from Fred. I have been happy with every plant I have received. This order may be may favorite yet, the pics speak for themselves.
Every order, granted it is usually 4-5 plants, he throws a plant in for free. Not just a half dying throw away plant either, a perfect SVO plant. But this time was like Christmas, I received a free C. Dowiana "Claire" potentially 4n seedling that I had inquired about, probably my favorite cattleya species.

Warning: purchasing from SVO might leave you with unrealistically high expectations. I purchased from Fred recently - orchids came in perfect condition, and were expertly packed so that damage due to carrier mishandling was unlikely.

I've ordered twice and been extremely happy both times. If/when he starts selling the Aussie terrestrials he's working with, I expect to be even happier!

Also true! I had a great time going to his presentation at one of the clubs in the area for their annual speakers day. Clear, hilarious, personable and great info. Looking forward to the Aussie Den presentation on the AOS webinar site! |
