I did an order with another Orchid Society member from SVO earlier this year as SVO offers smaller Cattleyas. All are doing very well.

I just received my order of the Compact breeder's choice special from SVO. 7 plants plus a bonus, all look great! A few will probably need to be re-potted because they are outgrowing the little 3" pots already. Probably should take a break from buying plants, maybe... 😂

You give me a really good idea for the future though. I have yet to join the AOS or a local OS. Either of those would result in better purchasing power, duh. And I'd probably learn a thing or two!

I ordered four Cattleyas for myself and another society member's two. They are arriving Wednesday! So excited!

Orchid Societies are filled with fun, nice, people who share a common hobby with us. I highly recommend them.

Thanks, Leafmite. I can't wait to join our local OS. They're on their summer hiatus until September, and then who knows what will happen with covid-19....but I will attend their very next meeting!

This board has also been such a great way to make new, nice friends with a common interest/passion. I think orchid people are just cool.
